| DRUMS - * 1970's Gretsch drumset (natural finish) with Remo Roto-Toms and (vintage) Zildjian cymbals * Drums: 22" Bass, 6" Roto-Tom, 8" Roto-Tom, 10" Roto-Tom, 12" Tom, 13" Tom, 14" Roto-Tom, 16" Roto-Tom, 16" Floor Tom, 14" COB snare, Ghost bass drum pedal Cymbals: 14" hi-hats, 14" crash, 18" crash, 20" ride NOTE: Danny played this kit from 1986 - 1989 at church and rehearsals. Also at a few gigs during 1988. - * 1980's Tama drumset (grey "snakeskin" pattern finish) with Paiste Colorsound cymbals (Red) * Drums: 22" Bass, 12" Tom, 13" Tom, 16" floor, 14" snare (all drums had "deadringers" installed on heads) Cymbals: 14" hi-hats, 12" splash, 14" crash, 16" crash, 20" ride NOTE: Danny only played this set a few times while playing with the Garcia Family (1988-1989) including a live TV broadcast with the group. - * 2009 Pearl Vision VSX Birch Ply (Champagne Sparkle) and Zildjian A Custom cymbals * Drums: 22"x18" Bass (8 ply), 10"x8" Tom (6 ply), 12"x9" Tom (6 ply), 16"x16" Floor Tom (8 ply) Cymbals: 14" Hi-Hats, 16" Crash, 18" Crash and 20" Ride NOTE: Danny picked this set out for the church drums at GFC in 2009 - * 2000's Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute (Cherry) and Zildjian cymbals * Drums" 22" Bass, 10" Tom, 12" Tom, 14" Floor Tom, 16" Floor Tom Cymbals: 13" K Custom Hybrid Hi-hats, 16" A Custom Fast Crash, 9" K Custom Hybrid Splash, 18" A Custom Fast Crash, 20" A Ping Ride Hardware: Gibralter Rack/cymbal arms, DW Hi-Hat stand and Pearl double pedal. Danny used this kit at FBCP from 2010-2011 - 1997 Pearl Export drumset (silver flash covering - long lug design) Drums: 22"x16" Bass, 12"x10" Tom, 13"x11" Tom, 16"x16" Floor Tom NOTE: Danny owned & used this set from 1997 until 2000 at church and rehearsals. The set was sold to Rockin' Robin (in Houston, TX) so Danny could purchase the Pearl Prestige Session Select drumset. - 2000 Pearl SensiTone Brass Snare Drum (14"x5") This snare came with the Pearl Prestige kit. Danny used this snare only a few times live and for only one recording (that he can remember). The snare was traded in 2003 for the Fibes snare drum Danny currently owns. The serial number for the snare was: 16762 - Pearl Rhythm Traveler drumset (jet black covering) Drums: 20"x8" Bass, 5"x10" Tom, 5"x12" Tom and 5"x14" Tom Danny owned and used this kit for rehearsals (and some gigs) from 2004 to 4/2/2006 Danny sold this set to purchase a Gretsch Catalina Club kit (which Danny played one of these kits at a gig on 2/1/2004). - Zildjian Edge Solid Rock Ride (20") Danny bought this cymbal brand new when the Edge series came out in the 90's and used it until 9/2006 when he bought his 20" Zildjian Medium Ride. The cymbal was sold via ebay and was sent to a R. Britney in Milford, CT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GUITARS - Epiphone T-310 Custom "Limited Edition" This guitar was a Telecaster copy with a humbucker in the neck position and a single coil in the bridge position and had a natural wood finish. Danny kept this guitar about a year or so and traded this guitar for the Gibson SG I. - 1991 Mitchell Acoustic This was Danny's main acoustic instrument before he bought his Fender Resonator, after that this guitar was sold. - 1995 Gibson SG I (aka "All American 1") *** Click here to see a scan of the ad when Danny bought his *** Danny bought this guitar on 8/6/1995 and kept it for about a year then sold it to buy his Fender Telecaster. The color of the guitar was called Wineburst. The serial number for this guitar was: 94050284 - Squire Stratocaster (Artic White finish with a rosewood fretboard) Danny bought this guitar and ended up trading it in after 17 days for the American Stratocaster. The serial number on the Squire was: KV97080461 - 2002 Artisan Lap Steel EA-1 Danny bought this lap steel in 2002 and kept it until he bought the 1959 Supro Double Neck Lap Steel he found in Hardy, AR -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EFFECTS PEDALS - Boss: CS-3 Compressor / Sustainer; Heavy Metal (HM-2) Taiwan - Modified by Effector 13; Super Shifter (PS-5) - Danelectro: Back Talk (Reverse Delay); Psycho Flange (Triple Flanger); Reel Echo - Digitech RP300 - DOD: Vibrothang (FX22) - Effector 13: Never Drive; Silicon Transitor Tri-Fuzz (#1 of 10, sold it back to Effector 13) - Electro-Harmonix: Big Muff USA; Holy Grail Reverb - Marshall: Blues Breaker II - MMFX (Morgan Miller) Custom Wah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AMPS - Peavey Studio Chorus 210 Danny owned this amp for only a couple of months and sold this amp in 1994. - Peavey Classic Chorus 212 Danny bought this amp (same model used as his Dad, at the time) after selling his Peavey 210 amp. This was Danny's main amp for recording and live use from 1994 to 1995. - Fender Twin Reverb (mid 70's, "Silverface" 100 watt amp with the master volume knob) Danny bought and sold this amp in 1995. Main amp used for recording during that time period. The serial number for the amp was: CFA7104 - Peavey Bandit 112 Transtube Danny bought this amp in 1995 after selling the Twin Reverb amp. This was Danny main amp for recording and live use from 1995 to 2002. The amp was sold in January 2003. - 1996 Ampeg Superjet SJ-12T Main amp used for live and studio work from October 2002 to August 2003. The serial number for the amp was: ABKDI90193 - 1990's Peavey Basic 60 Main amp used for bass guitar live and studio work from 1990 to December 2004. This amp was traded to get the SWR LA 15. |
